The Hullabaloo of 2’s Series

Learning to Manipulate Small Objects
Progress of small motor skills (the movements we make with our small muscles in our hands) is developed from manipulating small objects. By the age of 3, your child should be able to paint with a large brush and manipulate small objects. At Sunshine House we help facilitate these milestones by exposing the children to multiple art mediums. We also provide opportunities for your child to bead necklaces and use string that are large and small.
