How you can participate: Discuss the opposites high/low.

Tuesday – Yellow/Amarillo
How you can participate: Have your child come to school in or with something yellow. Look for yellow things around your house, or while shopping or driving.
Books – In my new yellow shirt
Action – Parachute Play – Yellow (Amarillo) balloons or bean bags
Art – My yellow hand prints
Math/Science – Yellow Taste Test: lemon, corn, cheese…
Music –Yellow Submarine
Wednesday – 1 & 2, Me & You, (uno y dos)
How you can participate: Practice counting with your child in both English and Spanish (Uno y Dos). Count one and two things around the house or out shopping.
Books – 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Action – Simon says – body parts/Hokey Pokey – body parts
Math- Sorting yellow items into groups of 1 and 2
Large Motor Skills-Nose & Toes Tag
Music – Number Rock
Thursday- Opposite Day –Happy/Sad
How you can participate: Discuss the opposites happy/sad and other emotions. Labeling feelings will help your child express themselves more effectively.
Books – Yellow/Amarillo
Action – Flannel Board – Feelings/How do you feel?
Art – Happy/Sad Necklaces
Graphing- Mirrors, mirrors tell my true feeling cards

Friday – Family Breakfast
