How you can participate: Practice quantifying more/less…Did you want more peas? Less peas? Group marbles (or any small item) into groups of more/less.

How you can participate: Sing and act out the nursery rhyme Cat and the Fiddle with your child… you can be the cow that “jumped over the moon” and the dish that “ran away with the spoon”.

Thursday – If You Give a Dog a Donut
How you can participate: Have your child brainstorm with you all the different animals that make great pets. Then, do it again, saying the animal names in Spanish (e.g. dog: el perro; cat: el gato; fish: el pez).

Friday –Hooray for Fish!
How you can participate: Have your child make their own snack at home. Let them scoop out blueberry yogurt (or vanilla yogurt with blue food coloring) into a bowl and then have them add a handful of goldfish crackers. They will have their own goldfish bowl! Yummy!
