Our Martinez school is always our most difficult school to get in to. They have a long waiting list...but, boy they are worth the wait. They have a lively staff who lead the children from one fun event to the next. The children hardly notice their brains exercising away from morning 'til night...and isn't that they way it should be?!

Sunshine House is a wonderful place! We have had our son there for almost two years now. The staff, fellow parents, and other children are a delight to interact with. Stop by for a visit and you will be welcomed with open arms and smiles! We love, love, love Sunshine House! You can feel the happiness and love flow from the moment you walk through the door. We were welcomed with open arms on our very first (unscheduled) visit. Our son immediately joined in playing with a group of kids, who promptly asked "what is this friend's name?" He didn't even notice my husband and I weren't following him around and were talking the teachers instead. We really like the fact that they encourage unannounced visits to sneak a peek at your child during the days at any time. We enrolled our son a month after he turned 2. Within days we noticed his vocabulary explode with new words and better pronunciation. The program is wonderful and has just the right amount of structure for learning and fun...and lots of hard play (helps him so much better at night!). Bring your child and drop in any time for a tour--you won't regret it!

My daughter has been attending Sunshine House for a little over a year now (she started at age two). My husband and I are thrilled with her experience to date. She loves going to Sunshine House! She has made many friends and has learned so much. Her social skills are blossoming. She s writing her own name. And, she has a ton of fun.. and we all know that when children have fun is when they learn best. The kids have the opportunity to choose their activities as well as participate in teacher-led activities. All of the adults associated with SH are wonderful, caring and knowledgeable.They feel like family to us. We ve also met a lot of great parents. One of the great things SH does is to monitor your child and take semi-annual assessments. They look for areas to development and share this with parents and also get feedback. For example, we were noticing at home and the teachers were noticing that my child was primarily a follower. They helped give her opportunities to lead and now she takes initiative in play with other children with a healthy balance of following... I could probably write another hour s worth of examples... suffice it to say that we are so happy with our choice of Sunshine House Martinez and give it the highest recommendation! Lisa and Ramon
Our Martinez team...sometimes they're beautiful with their smiles, sometimes as silly as can be, but always tenderly caring for our kids with a passion that is unmatched!
